Saint Leo the Great Catholic School is seeking enthusiastic individuals to serve as a Second Grade Teacher. Candidates will possess a deep devotion to the Catholic faith and love working with children fostering and strengthening students relationship with Christ. A Second Grade Teacher is responsible for building the foundational academic and spiritual skills - instructing students on a range of subjects such as reading language arts math science religion and social studies; creating engaging lesson plans managing classroom behavior assessing student progress communicating with parents and providing individualized support to help students develop academically socially and emotionally within a supportive learning environment. Applicants must also have strong organizational skills and the ability to adapt and adjust teaching methods in response to daily needs.
