Were looking for a mission-driven Staff Data Scientist to join our clients AI team and help shape the future of agentic systems in marketing. In this foundational role youll architect scalable intelligent solutions that democratize enterprise-level AI and put powerful tools into the hands of small and medium-sized businesses worldwide.
Youll be the first hire of your kind laying the groundwork for AI strategy infrastructure and innovation in a high-impact environment. Working closely with Product and Engineering youll turn cutting-edge research in generative and agentic AI into practical production-ready systems. This is a rare opportunity to work on a true greenfield initiative where your ideas and execution will directly influence the companys AI vision and long-term product direction.

Responsibilities:
- Design and implement a foundational AI data platform with a focus on scalability reliability and high performance.
- Build and deploy production-ready autonomous systems that execute marketing strategies.
- Create robust MLOps pipelines for scalable model training deployment and continuous improvement.
- Prototype and operationalize cutting-edge machine learning models for marketing automation.
- Enhance large language model (LLM) capabilities through techniques such as RAG fine-tuning RLHF and advanced evaluation methods.
- Research emerging AI technologies and apply academic innovations to real-world business use cases.
- Perform in-depth statistical analysis to uncover patterns and metrics that influence marketing success.
- Deliver complete data science products from concept to production.
- Develop quantitative metrics and visualizations that demonstrate return on investment for SMB clients.
- Translate complex AI outputs into actionable results-driven marketing strategies.
- Collaborate with product and engineering teams to integrate AI solutions into scalable production systems.
- Mentor junior data scientists and engineers promoting technical growth and innovation.
- Advocate for the AI platforms vision internally and externally within the AI and business communities.
Requirements:
- Proven experience in building and deploying advanced AI/ML solutions particularly in agentic systems natural language processing (NLP) or deep learning.
- Strong background in architecting scalable machine learning platforms and data pipelines capable of handling high-volume model training and inference.
- Expert-level Python skills (scikit-learn TensorFlow PyTorch Hugging Face) for research and production use.
- Hands-on experience with Retrieval-Augmented Generation (RAG) model fine-tuning Reinforcement Learning from Human Feedback (RLHF) and implementation of model evaluation frameworks and drift detection.
- Advanced SQL proficiency and solid understanding of data warehousing ETL and governance.
- Experience with cloud platforms (AWS GCP Azure) and distributed computing tools like Spark or Dask.
- Ability to turn complex technical insights into actionable business strategies and measurable value.
- Experience mentoring junior team members and working in cross-functional environments.
- Appreciation of the specific needs and constraints of SMBs with a strong belief in democratizing access to advanced technology.
- Self-driven and focused on building scalable reusable solutions that make an impact.
- A continuous learner mindset keeping up to date with emerging AI research and experimenting with its practical applications.
