We currently have an exciting opportunity to join the East Suffolk Councils Housing Team as a Scheme Manager.
Your role:
We are seeking a Scheme Manager to provide high quality housing related support to older and vulnerable people in our Retired Living Schemes as well as promoting independence and providing a safe and secure environment for our tenants to live in.
You will be responsible for undertaking and recording all scheduled site inspections fire alarm tests emergency lighting tests and legionella tests to ensure we comply with all the relevant Health and Safety legislation.
You will need to deal with emergency situations in a calm manner and to display a confident professional and friendly approach at all times.
You will have experience working in a customer facing role and dealing with the public in difficult and sensitive situations. With excellent communications skills you will need to demonstrate high levels of integrity and empathy whilst liaising with the public and other key stakeholders.
You will require experience of using ICT and software systems.
