About you and this position
Reporting to the Co Ordinator City Maintenance you will play a hands-on role in the maintenance and care of Council assets and infrastructure across the city.
The position involves working as part of a skilled team to deliver high-quality sustainable maintenance services ensuring these valued community assets remain safe secure and well-maintained.
You will utilise your practical skills daily assist with planning and coordinating tasks and contribute to creating vibrant spaces and sites for the community to enjoy.
As a successful candidate you will have:
- Trade Qualification (in Plumbing Carpentry or Electrical work) or minimum 10 years experience in the area of building maintenance (essential)
- Class MR Drivers License (essential)
- Workzone Traffic Management Ticket (desirable)
- Forklift ticket (desirable)
- Loader operation ticket (desirable)
- Elevated Work Platform (EWP) ticket with minimum up to 11 metres
This position is available on a permanent full-time basis and is classified as a Grade 5 under the Campbelltown Field Staff Enterprise Agreement No 12 2023 and the relevant Award.
The preferred candidate will need to undertake a pre-employment medical and submit a police clearance (funded by Council).
