Job Description

Job Summary:

This role is for an X-Ray Technician in a short-term acute care hospital. The position requires working a block schedule Tuesday through Friday from 8:00 AM to 6:30 PM. The technician will float between units as needed. No on-call weekend or 48-hour shifts are required.
Location: Portland Oregon United States
Responsibilities:
- Performing X-ray procedures.
- Floating between various hospital units as needed.
- Maintaining and cleaning equipment.
- Adhering to hospital protocols and safety standards.
- Other duties as assigned.

Required Skills & Certifications:
- Current certification as an X-Ray Technician.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Proficiency in operating X-ray equipment.
- Knowledge of radiation safety protocols.

Preferred Skills & Certifications:
- Experience in a short-term acute care hospital setting.
- Experience with various types of X-ray procedures.

Special Considerations:
- Block schedule: Tuesday - Friday 8:00 AM - 6:30 PM.
- No on-call weekend or 48-hour shifts required.
- Floating between units.
- Hospital is a 536-bed short-term acute care facility.

Scheduling:
- Block schedule: Tuesday - Friday 8:00 AM - 6:30 PM.
- No weekends or on-call shifts.
- No 48-hour shifts approved.
