Position: Orthopedic Surgeon MS Consultant for Fortis Hospital
We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Orthopedic Surgeon MS Consultant to join the Fortis Hospital team in India. This on-site role is an exceptional opportunity for a motivated individual looking to contribute to the orthopedic field providing specialized care to patients with a variety of musculoskeletal conditions.
Role Responsibilities:
- Conduct comprehensive assessments of patients with orthopedic conditions.
- Develop and implement tailored treatment plans for patients.
- Perform surgical procedures to address orthopedic issues.
- Collaborate with the healthcare team to optimize patient outcomes.
- Provide pre-operative and post-operative care and guidance.
- Maintain accurate and detailed medical records for all patients.
- Stay updated on the latest orthopedic practices and technologies.
- Educate patients and their families about orthopedic disorders and treatments.
- Participate in departmental meetings and case discussions.
- Contribute to research and clinical trials as needed.
- Ensure compliance with hospital policies and regulations.
- Respond to orthopedic emergencies as required.
- Assist in training and mentoring junior staff and medical interns.
- Engage in community outreach to promote orthopedic health awareness.
- Provide expert opinions for complex orthopedic cases.
Qualifications:
- Masters degree in Orthopedic Surgery (MS) from a recognized institution.
- Minimum 5 years of experience in orthopedic surgery.
- Fellowship training in a subspecialty of orthopedics is preferred.
- Proven expertise in various orthopedic surgical procedures.
- Strong diagnostic skills and clinical judgment.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment.
- Commitment to ongoing professional development and learning.
- Knowledge of current trends and practices in orthopedic care.
- Experience with electronic health record (EHR) systems.
- Valid medical license to practice in India.
- Strong organizational and time management skills.
