Job Description
Agile - Project Management
Fortworth TX
Hybrid
6 Months Extendable contract
Manages/oversees all aspects of multiple simultaneous fast-paced assigned initiatives with distributed teams. With teams becoming more geographically dispersed strong leadership and team-building skills are essential.
Leads IT initiatives throughout the entire project lifecycle (initiation planning execution monitoring and closure).
Develop and manages detailed project plans manages project scope and sets milestones manages budget tracks project status
Ensures initiatives are delivered on time within scope and within budget
Designs and maintains project vision project working standards and agreements
Identifies potential risks and develop risk mitigation strategies.
Manages issues and troubleshoot problems that arise during the project lifecycle ensuring minimal disruption to the project timeline.
Tracks updates and communicates project status in a proactive manner as it relates to project progress budget/cost resource utilization change requests issues risks and risk mitigation plans
The ability to communicate complex technical concepts to various stakeholders
Ability to leverage data analytics for tracking project performance optimizing processes and making informed decisions that align with strategic goals.

Minimum Qualifications Education & Prior Job Experience
Bachelors degree in Computer Science Computer Engineering Technology Information Systems (CIS/MIS) Engineering or related technical discipline or equivalent experience/training
5 years of experience in IT project management or a related role.

Preferred Qualifications Education & Prior Job Experience
Certified ScrumMaster or PMP (Project Management Professional)
Airline Industry experience with a focus on Crew Mgmt. and Crew Pay

Skills Licenses and Certifications
Experience leading coaching and mentoring teams with strong focus on continuous improvement and developing self-organizing teams
Experience in a variety of computing platforms such as mainframe client/server web cloud and social media
Experience in DevOps toolchain methodologies including Continuous Integration and Continuous Deployment
Proficiency in Microsoft Office Tools (Project Excel Word and PowerPoint) and project management software
Skills in leadership; team-focused with high energy and a positive attitude
Skills in analytics estimating and problem solving
Ability to think strategically and develop tactical methods to achieve objectives and goals
Ability to build and maintain effective relationships with team members customers and external groups as well as working in a collaborative environment with geographically dispersed resources

Ability to communicate status schedules and needs to IT and Business as well as ensure that plans are in place and standards are adhered to
