- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel for data management analysis and reporting to support operational decisions.
- Must have attention to detail to ensure compliance with company policies and reduce discrepancies in supply chain processes.
- Problem-solving skills to address and resolve any issues that arise within purchasing and warehouse operations promptly.
Roles and Responsibilities
- Oversee and manage day-to-day purchasing activities to ensure an uninterrupted supply chain.
- Coordinate with suppliers to negotiate pricing delivery schedules and terms to achieve cost optimization.
- Maintain accurate records of inventory levels and generate reports to identify needs for restocking.
- Ensure proper documentation and filing of purchase orders and inventory reports for audit readiness.
- Collaborate with warehouse staff to streamline the receipt and dispatch of goods efficiently.
- Implement warehouse policies to maintain a clean organized and safe working environment.
- Analyze purchasing patterns to anticipate future product requirements and avoid overstock or shortages.
- Support continuous improvement initiatives within the purchasing and warehouse functions to enhance service quality.
