DescriptionThe Credit Specialist is responsible for receiving and evaluating modification/settlement requests and recommending the appropriate solution to the competent board. Performs all documentation and credit checks required and confirms that the proposed solution complies with applied policies and procedures. The role demands an effective collaboration with cross-functional teams.
Main Accountabilities
- Receiving modification/settlement requests and performing documentation and credit checks based on policies.
- Assessing modification/settlement requests within individual approval level and submitting proposals to the competent board complying with applied policies and procedures.
- Communicating with channels for collecting additional documentation/information required for the recommendation of the appropriate solution.
- Communicating with the competent boards providing additional information aimed at the most immediate processing and/or approval decisions.
- Preparing through the Unit tool the underlying information to be used as input along with supporting documentation for the quarterly individual impairment calculation for Retail exposures.
- Participating in units and cross-functional meetings.
RequirementsEducation Experience and Technical Skills
- Bachelors degree in Economics Banking or a related field will be considered an asset
- Minimum 2 years of experience in Credit Analysis.
- Excellent level of written and oral communication in Greek knowledge of the
- English language will be considered an asset
- Computer Literacy advanced use of MS Office Applications
