Job Skills / Requirements
The Area Manager owns day-to-day operations for a group of client sites. Youll hire train and coach janitorial crews monitor quality through regular inspections and make sure every customer concern gets swift complete follow-up. Schedule: Monday - Friday 3:00 PM - 11:30 PM
Key Responsibilities Include:
Team Leadership
- Onboard and train new cleaners (hands-on shadowing included)
- Set clear shift and area assignments; adjust staffing as needed
- Address performance or attendance issues promptly and document actions
Quality & Customer Care
- Inspect each facility on a set schedule correct deficiencies on the spot
- Respond to client questions or complaints the same day and follow through to closure
- Recommend and coordinate special projects (deep cleans floor work etc.)
Operations & Compliance
- Review and approve employee timecards; submit payroll data accurately and on time
- Track and reorder supplies to maintain par levels without waste
- Enforce all safety policies; investigate and report any accidents immediately
- Complete required company training and certifications
Qualifications
- Language: Bilingual English/Spanish strongly preferred
- Experience: 2 years of progressive management in janitorial or facilities services
- Solid judgment under pressure; able to prioritize and meet deadlines
- Strong customer-service mindset and attention to detail
- Clear written and verbal communication skills
- Organized able to juggle multiple sites and tasks at once
- Proficiency with MS Office (email spreadsheets documents)
- Valid drivers license and reliable transportation
