Position Summary...

Join Walmart as a Senior Manager Corporate Development and M&A and play a key role in driving the companys inorganic growth strategy. This is a high-visibility opportunity to work on transformative deals across Walmart U.S. Sams Club and Walmart International. Youll gain significant exposure to senior leaders and have strong potential for career progression within the company.

About the Team
Walmarts Corporate Development team is a small high-performing group that partners with senior leadership to identify evaluate and execute strategic M&A initiatives. The teams mission is to drive value through acquisitions investments divestitures and strategic partnerships supporting Walmarts growth and innovation goals. As a Senior Manager youll collaborate with business and functional leaders as well as external partners to deliver impactful results.

What youll do...

  • Engage with Walmart business leaders to develop M&A strategy identify and assess potential inorganic growth opportunities and build consensus.
  • Develop and manage relationships with investment banking private equity and venture capital investors in retail digital media supply chain and emerging technologies.
  • Lead all transaction-related financial modeling and valuation analysis to support deal execution.
  • Manage the diligence process by partnering with internal teams (legal accounting tax) and external advisors.
  • Build presentations for senior leadership that convey effective narratives outline strategic trade-offs and drive executive decision-making.
  • Support the Integration/Separation team on post-close planning and execution.

What Youll Bring

  • Experience in corporate development investment banking private equity or a related field with a strong track record in M&A execution.
  • Advanced financial modeling and valuation skills with the ability to analyze complex transactions and present clear recommendations.
  • Strong relationship management skills with experience engaging both internal stakeholders and external partners.
  • Excellent communication and presentation abilities capable of building compelling narratives for senior executives.
  • Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously and thrive in a fast-paced dynamic environment.
  • Collaborative mindset with a focus on driving results and supporting team success.

The annual salary range for this position is $90000.00-$180000.00

Additional compensation includes annual or quarterly performance bonuses.

Minimum Qualifications...

Bachelors degree in Business Engineering or related field and 3 years experience in Merger & Acquisitions Investment Banking Business Development or related area OR 5 years experience in Merger & Acquisitions Investment Banking Business Development Engineering or related area.
