Yard & Warehouse Manager
Location: Laurel MD
Salary: $85000$95000 Bonuses Full Benefits Relocation Assistance Available

Our clienta well-established and fast-growing commercial roofing and exterior services contractoris urgently hiring a Warehouse & Yard Manager to take ownership lead a transformation and create real impact. This is a high-impact leadership role for someone who is both mechanically inclined and operationally sharp with a talent for process improvement and equipment oversight.
What Youll Be Tackling
- Overhaul and reorganize warehouse and yard layout for maximum efficiency
- Implement inventory systems and improve material flow
- Perform or coordinate preventative maintenance and repairs on small engines and equipment including:
- Generators air compressors hot air welders hoists lifts and other roofing-specific machinery
- Maintain fleet vehicle service schedules and ensure operational compliance
- Supervise warehouse and yard staff (45 team members) and oversee daily operations
- Manage inbound and outbound deliveries including loading/unloading at job sites
- Maintain accurate inventory and ensure all equipment is jobsite-ready
- Identify and implement cost-saving and process improvement initiatives
- Uphold high standards of safety compliance and cleanliness
What Makes You a Great Fit
- Experience in the commercial roofing or construction industry is highly preferred
- Strong understanding of warehouse and yard procedures tools and materials
- Proven track record leading warehouse reorganizations or operational improvements
- Mechanically skilled and able to diagnose and coordinate equipment repairs
- Comfortable with inventory systems Excel and maintenance tracking
- Able to lead delegate and train team members effectively
- Forklift certification required
- Valid drivers license required; CDL preferred
- Bilingual (English/Spanish) is a plus
