Fraser is seeking a temporary Health Information Management (HIM) Coordinator to support the HIM Department. This role involves releasing information conducting chart audits performing data analysis and handling procedural and diagnosis coding. The HIM Coordinator will deliver exceptional customer service with empathy professionalism and care.

Requirements:

  • RHIT/RHIA in HIM or related field preferred but not required. Or have HIM experience.
  • Valid drivers license is preferred. Access to reliable transportation and ability to travel independently throughout the metro areawithin a reasonable amount of timeis required.
  • Commitment to promoting diversity multiculturalism and inclusion with focus on culturally responsive practice internal self-awareness and reflection.

Responsibilities:

  • Proactively analyzes incoming/outgoing documentation to ensure compliance requirements are met.
  • Responds to inbound/outbound documentation requests.
  • Ensures the accuracy and quality of information release requests through analysis prior to release.
  • Retrieves electronic documentation from electronic health record upon request.
  • Acts as a primary resource related to Health Information requests and collaborates with clinicians to support client needs.

    Location Schedule & Pay:

    • Bloomington MN.
    • Monday-Friday during standard business hours.
