LPN Responsibilities
Deliver hands-on nursing care under the supervision of RNs and facility leadership
Administer prescribed medications and treatments accurately and safely
Monitor and report changes in resident health status
Assist with ADLs (Activities of Daily Living) and support resident comfort
Collaborate with care teams to ensure quality outcomes
Maintain accurate and timely documentation in accordance with facility standards
Follow infection control and safety protocols at all times
Participate in shift reports ongoing education and team meetings
Foster a respectful and compassionate environment for residents and coworkers
Qualifications
Active Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) license in the state of North Carolina
At least 6 months of experience in a long-term care assisted living or SNF setting
Ability to lift 50 lbs and assist with resident mobility
Excellent communication and critical thinking skills
Familiarity with EMR systems is a plus
CPR certification preferred
