Senior Quality Control Inspector

Industry Experience: Demonstrated experience in the industrial construction or maintenance sectors particularly with energy chemicals or resources projects.

Technical Expertise: A solid understanding of quality control and inspection processes within industrial environments with an ability to ensure compliance with technical specifications and industry codes.

Certification: Must hold a valid NCEER Certified Plus certification with either written or performance verification.

Attention to Detail: Strong ability to identify issues or non-compliance during inspections ensuring accuracy and thoroughness in all tasks.

Physical Requirements: Ability to perform physically demanding tasks including climbing kneeling reaching and lifting as required in industrial environments.

Team Collaboration: Ability to work effectively in a team and communicate clearly to address and resolve quality issues in line with project goals.

PURPOSE OF THE ROLE

The Senior I&E Quality Control Inspector is responsible for ensuring that all work performed meets or exceeds the required standards codes and specifications. By conducting thorough inspections and audits this role plays a critical part in ensuring the delivery of safe high-quality projects. The role contributes to Worleys commitment to sustainable change by ensuring compliance with industry regulations which helps to support operational integrity and reliability.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

• Perform regular audits and inspections to ensure that work complies with industry codes and specifications ensuring high standards are met in all aspects of the project.

• Accurately complete records and documentation related to inspections ensuring all findings are properly recorded and reported in a timely manner.

• Maintain calibrate and operate inspection tools and equipment to ensure precision in all testing and inspection activities.

• Actively participate in clean-up and housekeeping activities to maintain a safe and orderly work environment in line with workplace safety standards.

• Collaborate with team members and other departments to communicate and resolve quality issues reinforcing Worleys commitment to delivering sustainable and high-quality outcomes.
