Kentro is hiring a cleared Senior-levelSoftware/Web Developerto support the National Geospatial-Intelligence Agency.

Responsibilities:

SharePoint Development and Customization

  • Develop and implement improvements to customers SharePoint 2013 and 2019 sites (high-side and low-side)
  • Create and modify site templates layouts and custom style sheets.
  • Design and develop workflows forms and web parts to support business process improvements.
  • Develop automated solutions using Nintex workflows and forms for:
    • SharePoint User Requests (submission review approval tracking)
    • Customer Financial Review Boards Unfunded Requirements (UFR)
    • Records management (tagging retention deletion per file plan)
    • Expected Accomplishments (EA) process lifecycle
  • Configure sites to meet approved user requirements and mission objectives.

SharePoint Administration & Site Collection Management

  • Create and configure new site collections; set permissions per the customers SharePoint Security Model.
  • Manage user permissions account requests and access to securable objects.
  • Perform Central Administration services.
  • Coordinate and implement site transitions upgrades and data migrations.
  • Manage and update site collections through the customer SharePoint User Request process.
  • Maintain configuration control of site collections and an inventory of site assets.
  • Respond to technical questions and provide front-line support to users.

Content & Records Management

  • Maintain and update content including lists libraries calendars wikis blogs and web pages.
  • Manage metadata and the customer Metadata Term Store.
  • Develop and export metadata using automated scripts (e.g. to Excel).
  • Publish content with proper metadata tagging.
  • Support records management:
    • Develop migration strategies.
    • Implement automated archival and deletion aligned with records schedule.

Configuration Management & Governance

  • Support SharePoint Configuration Management including:
    • Maintenance of workflow and script libraries.
    • Support for the customer SharePoint Steering Committee.
    • Development and updates of SharePoint policies and procedures.
  • Assist with governance-related tasks including:
    • Participating in weekly meetings with the Government SharePoint Lead.
    • Supporting the Divisions JIRA Kanban process with SharePoint project status and updates.

Testing Integration & Performance Monitoring

  • Test automated workflows and site changes in coordination with the Government Lead.
  • Monitor site sizing performance and storage thresholds; implement solutions as needed.
  • Support integration of Tableau dashboards and other third-party apps via embedded web parts.
  • Troubleshoot and resolve errors and site performance issues.


Requirements
  • This position requires 8-10 years of relevant experience.
  • SharePoint Development & Administration
    • Advanced experience with SharePoint 2013 and 2019 (on-premise)
    • Advanced experience working with SharePoint 2013 and 2019 Metadata Term Store.
    • Advanced experience working with SharePoint 2013 and 2019 Central Administration.
    • Intermediate experience using the SharePoint Designer application.
    • Site collection administration and configuration
    • Custom site template and style sheet development
    • Web part and page design (including modern and classic experiences)
    • Advanced experience working with Nintex workflows and forms.
      • Experience with Nintex Workflow and Forms (design automation and troubleshooting)
    • Metadata management and Term Store customization
    • SharePoint records management (auto-tagging retention deletion)
    • SharePoint search configuration content types and taxonomy
  • Web Development
    • HTML XML JavaScript for customizing SharePoint pages
    • Knowledge of PowerShell scripting for SharePoint
    • Familiarity with JSON jQuery and client-side rendering
    • Intermediate experience with InfoPath applications.
    • Experience embedding Tableau dashboards or 3rd-party visualizations
  • Scripting and Automation
    • PowerShell scripting for SharePoint administration and automation
    • Nintex Workflow scripting and logic design
    • Familiarity with automating data exports (e.g. Term Store to Excel)
  • Systems Integration & Configuration
    • Experience integrating 3rd-party tools (e.g. Tableau Microsoft 365 apps)
    • Understanding of SharePoint Central Administration and farm-level features
    • Collaboration with infrastructure/system administration teams (e.g. for patching migrations)
  • Security and Governance
    • Implementing and maintaining permissions in accordance with a SharePoint Security Model
    • Managing access to securable objects (lists libraries workflows etc.)
    • Knowledge of information governance practices and compliance standards
    • Support of records retention policies and federal data handling requirements
  • Content & Records Management
    • SharePoint list/library setup and management
    • Metadata tagging and content publishing workflows
    • SharePoint archiving deletion and document lifecycle strategies
  • Soft Skills & Collaboration
    • Strong problem-solving and troubleshooting skills
    • Ability to translate user/business requirements into technical solutions
    • Experience providing front-line user support and training
    • Participation in agile or Kanban-style work environments (e.g. JIRA)
    • Clear communication skills for working with government leads and cross-functional teams
    • Strong documentation practices (e.g. workflow user guides configuration logs)
