Join Our Team as a Claims Administrator!


We are seeking a Claims Administrator to join our team. This is an exciting opportunity for individuals who are detail oriented passionate about customer service and eager to learn. As a member of our team youll contribute to the efficient handling of commercial insurance claims and support client satisfaction through clear communication and organized processes. This role also offers the opportunity to grow your career within the claims department gaining hands-on experience and expanding your knowledge in the field of risk management.


About the Role


Were seeking a detail-oriented and self-motivated Claims Administrator to join our claims team. In this role youll support the claims team by helping manage the claims process for Workers Compensation Commercial Auto and General Liability claims while also serving as a communication link between clients insurance carriers and internal stakeholders. Your ability to communicate clearly stay organized and navigate claims procedures will help ensure our clients receive timely and accurate support when they need it most.


What Youll Do

  • Coordinate Claims Intake & Reporting: Collect claim details from clients or internal teams and initiate claims with carriers. Set up and maintain accurate claims files in both physical format and within our Agency Management System.
  • Manage Claims Lifecycle: Track and update claims history including payment and disposition status. Monitor deadlines follow up on outstanding items and prepare routine claim status updates for Risk Advisors. Triage and categorize claims escalating to the appropriate Claims Consultant when necessary.
  • Client Carrier & Team Communication: Facilitate clear and timely communication among clients adjusters and internal teams by sharing claim updates addressing inquiries and supporting the resolution process. Monitor and manage incoming correspondence (emails mail phone calls) ensuring it is categorized and routed appropriately. Keep supervisors informed of any issues that may impact task performance or pose potential E&O risks.
Requirements

What You Bring

  • Education and Work Experience: Associate degree or equivalent or one to two years related experience in an administrative or support role (insurance preferred) or equivalent combination of education and experience.
  • License or Certification Requirements: Current or obtain Colorado Property & Casualty Insurance License within 3 months of hire date and requires current Colorado drivers license and acceptable MVR
  • Communication Skills: Clear professional and empathetic communication with clients carriers and internal teams.
  • Attention to Detail: Ability to manage multiple claims with accuracy and minimal supervision.
  • Team-Centered Approach: Collaborative dependable and enthusiastic about contributing to a positive team environment. Willing to support others and take initiative to help the team succeed.
  • Growth-Oriented Mindset: Eagerness to develop a strong understanding of commercial claims processes and insurance protocols. Open to learning from experienced team members and committed to continuous improvement in claims handling.

  • Salary Range - Starting pay for this nonexempt position is $26-$30/hour. In addition to regular pay this position is eligible to participate in our annual performance incentive program.
