Join our Corporate Team as a Junior Paralegal located in our Minneapolis office.

This role will be based in our Minneapolis office on an in-office basis. Regular in-office presence is required for day-to-day operations as well as for team meetings training opportunities and relationship building.
Position Summary
The Corporate Paralegal will provide organizational and practice specific assistance to attorneys in the Department in all stages of transactions from pre-to post-closing duties. The ability to take ownership of projects strong organization skills and attention to detail are essential. This candidate must be able to multi-task and prioritize as well as have a strong client service orientation. This role requires working collaboratively in a team environment as well as working independently.
Key Responsibilities
Prepares and drafts routine correspondence/memorandum and emails.
Maintains and updates physical and electronic files.
Obtains and organizes signature pages.
Assists attorneys with organization of due diligence materials.
Performs basic document review and light research.
Drafts and prepares UCCs and corporate formation documents.
Drafts and updates closing checklists.
Prepares closing and post-closing documents.
Prepares closing binders.
Maintains timely and accurate timekeeping records.
Executes other administrative and project work assignments as assigned.
Qualifications
Skills & Competencies
Candidates must have excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
Ability to be a proactive self-starter be extremely organized and detail oriented.
Excellent client service skills and ability to work on multiple matters simultaneously in an organized manner and under minimal supervision.
Flexible and able to respond quickly and positively to shifting demands.
Demonstrated attention to detail reliability and ability to learn and adapt to new technology quickly.
Ability to work overtime on an as-needed basis.
Position also requires the ability to work under pressure to meet strict deadlines.
Education & Prior Experience
Bachelors degree from accredited institution preferred.
Paralegal certificate from an ABA certified paralegal program and notary a plus.
Working knowledge or experience in a law firm or legal environment is helpful.
Technology
Proficiency with Windows-based software and Microsoft Word Excel and Outlook and Adobe Acrobat required.
Experience with iManage and/or Filesite is a plus.
The expected pay range for this position is:
$30.44 to $40.11 per hour
Actual pay will be adjusted based on experience location and other job-related factors permitted by law.
