Job Summary:

Senior Account Manager to provide customer service for assigned commercial lines clients. They support the Producer and/or Account Executive by gathering and organizing data along with preparing quotes and proposals. They are responsible for the daily service of their accounts.

Responsibilities:

• Obtain renewal position from carriers prior to renewal. Work with Producer and/or Account

• Executive (AE) to develop strategy for retention of account at renewal.

• Prepare submissions for marketing and negotiate with markets as needed.

• Prepare Account Income statements for internal review at renewal.

• Build and maintain relationships with carriers and wholesalers.

• Assist in cross-selling of new lines of coverage and upselling for existing lines of coverage.

• Input and update customer and policy information in EPIC in real time.

• Maintain accurate and updated suspense file in EPIC in real time.

• Communicate professionally and accurately to answer customer and carrier questions via phoneand email.

• Obtain information from clients for endorsements and renewals.

• Prepare presentations including proposals for client meetings.

• Work with Producer and/or AE to develop and monitor client service plans when requested.

• Prepare client dashboard for completion by Producer/AE.

• Manage Accounts Receivables to agency standards and facilitate collection of monies fromclients.

• Prioritize workload with ability to handle multiple tasks.

• Know when to request assistance.

• Demonstrate flexibility and adaptability for changing priorities and deadlines.

• Oversee Assistant Account Managers daily work and assign tasks to them.

• Work independently with minimal supervision.

• Keep AE and/or Producer fully informed of important activities on their accounts including beingsensitive to potential problems.

• Review client contracts to determine if they are compliant with the insurance requirements andsuggest additional coverage as needed.

• Properly handle confidential and non-routine information.

• Have strong coverage knowledge and keep knowledge up to date.

• Provide back up to team members when they are out of the office.

Requirements:

• Ability to prioritize workload and handle multiple tasks.

• Demonstrate flexibility and adaptability for changing priorities and deadlines

• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.

• Strong interpersonal skills and ability to work with a variety of people/personalities.

• Knowledge of MS Office Word PowerPoint Outlook Excel

• Must currently hold a property and casualty license.

• Minimum of 5- years relative Commercial Lines experience.

• Four-year college degree or equivalent on the job experience within insurance.
