We are looking for a Pre-Sales Research Intern to join our business development team and support the front-end of our international sales pipeline with intelligent research and lead profiling.
Job Overview
As a Pre-Sales Research Intern you will support the sales and business development teams by researching prospects validating data and ensuring strong lead qualification. This internship will enhance your understanding of global markets B2B research and early-stage sales operations in the food export industry.
Key Responsibilities
- Conduct research to identify and qualify potential clients across food FMCG and ingredient sectors globally.
- Analyze company profiles decision-makers and market potential using LinkedIn trade databases and search engines.
- Build maintain and organize structured lead lists for sales outreach.
- Pre-validate contact data before handing off to the sales team.
- Help identify key industries regions and verticals for future prospecting.
- Coordinate with sales to align research efforts with active campaigns and regions.
- Track and report research insights and performance using Excel CRM or other tracking tools.
- Stay updated on food industry trade trends fairs and sourcing events.
Qualifications
- Current enrolment in a Bachelors degree program (preferably in Business Marketing Agriculture Food Technology MBA or a related field).
- Strong interest in market research data analysis towards food and agriculture industry.
- Excellent analytical skills with the ability to interpret data and draw meaningful conclusions.
- Basic proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel PowerPoint Word) and familiarity with Google Workspace.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills for presenting findings clearly.
- Proactive detail-oriented and eager to learn in a fast-paced environment.
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a team setting.
