Business Analyst, AWS Elemental Media Services

We are looking for a Business Analyst who is passionate about solving customers problems has a strong background in data analysis and proven ability to optimize operation. This Business Analyst has demonstrated success in analyzing historical financial and non-financial data and business metrics to inform regular forecasts (R&O OP1 OP2).
Candidates will be comfortable working closely with and across agile teams. This is a high visibility high impact role that will interact with all levels of AWS leadership. Key job responsibilities
Partner with Product/Engineering teams to build financial models for new products/features.
Conduct rigorous analyses and develop business models for different programs within video.
Embed with product managers engineering and data analysts/scientists to drive high-priority projects across the business.
Work with Business Development and Sales to identify strategic customer opportunities to drive Elementals top-line growth.

- Bachelors degree
- Experience bridging technical and business teams to collect and refine requirements prioritize incoming work requests and ensure all committed work is delivered on time
- Experience in using analytical tools such as Tableau Qlikview QuickSight
- Experience performing statistical analysis of data using SQL Excel and other tools
- Experience in an operational environment developing fast-prototyping piloting and launching analytic products

- Experience contributing to engineering discussions around technology decisions and strategy related to a product
- Experience with feature delivery and tradeoffs of a product

Our compensation reflects the cost of labor across several US geographic markets. The base pay for this position ranges from $136100/year in our lowest geographic market up to $235200/year in our highest geographic market. Pay is based on a number of factors including market location and may vary depending on job-related knowledge skills and experience. Amazon is a total compensation company.
