Job Summary:
We are looking for an experienced SAP MM (Materials Management) Consultant to support our clients ongoing SAP project initiatives. The ideal candidate will have deep functional expertise in the Procure-to-Pay (P2P) cycle SAP MM configuration and integration with other modules such as SD PP and WM.
Key Responsibilities:
- Analyze business requirements and design solutions in the SAP MM module
- Configure and customize SAP MM components including Purchasing Inventory Management Material Master Vendor Master Source Lists and Release Strategies
- Support Procurement and Inventory Management processes (Stock/Non-stock purchases STOs Subcontracting Consignment etc.)
- Work with cross-functional teams to support end-to-end P2P processes
- Resolve issues perform root cause analysis and support users during cutover and go-live
- Conduct unit testing integration testing and user acceptance testing
- Document functional specifications and work with ABAP developers on enhancements and custom reports
- Train end-users and create system documentation and SOPs
Must-Have Skills:
- Overall SAP Experience: 10-13 Years
- 7-10 years of hands-on SAP MM configuration and implementation experience
- Strong knowledge of Purchasing Inventory Management MRP and Logistics Invoice Verification
- Experience in integrating SAP MM with SD PP WM and FI
- Hands-on experience with SAP ECC or S/4HANA MM
- Excellent problem-solving communication and stakeholder management skills
- Must be willing to work 100% onsite in Detroit MI
Nice to Have:
- Exposure to SAP Ariba SAP Fiori apps or S/4HANA Central Procurement
- Automotive or manufacturing industry experience
- SAP certification in MM or S/4HANA Sourcing & Procurement
