Job Description
Job title: Infra Architect / infrastructure Engineer
Job Location: Menomonee Falls WI
Job Type : Contract
Job Summary:
We are seeking a skilled and proactive Linux DevOps Engineer with 9 to 13 years of experience specializing in Google Cloud Platform (GCP) infrastructure and CI/CD pipeline development. The ideal candidate will ensure high availability performance and security of cloud-based applications while working in a hybrid work model.
Required Skills:
DevOps skills
Linus/Unix Administration
Middleware Technologies (WebLogic Tibco WebSphere)
Site Reliability Engineering (SRE)
GCP Infrastructure
CI/CD pipeline development
Nice-to-have Skills:
Experience with multi-cloud or hybrid cloud environments
Familiarity with AWS and Azure platforms
Responsibilities:
Linus Unix DevOps:
Deep understanding of Linux/Unix systems.
Experience with distributed systems and cloud infrastructure.
Familiarity with monitoring tools (e.g. Grafana).
Problem-solving and analytical skills.
Background in DevOps CI/CD or infrastructure as code (e.g. Terraform Ansible).
Ensure the availability latency performance and capacity of services.
Automation: Develop workflows to manage infrastructure and applications through automation.
Middleware Technologies:
Knowledge on RDQM is added advantage.
Knowledge on Tibco administration and Tibco-EMS.
Hands on experience on Tibco MFT.
Hands on experience in certificate handling in both app and MQ servers.
Knowledge on handling Apache Webserver/Tomcat.
DevOps SRE Skills:
CI /CD pipeline Shooting
Terraform skills
Scripting Knowledge
Required Qualifications:
Proven experience as a DevOps Engineer
Strong expertise in GCP services (Compute Engine GKE Cloud Functions Cloud Storage etc.)
Proficiency in scripting languages (e.g. Python PowerShell)
Familiarity with Git and version control systems
Solid understanding of networking concepts DNS load balancing and firewalls
Knowledge of Agile and DevOps methodologies
