Job Title: MMIS Quality Assurance Lead and MMIS QA Analyst and Medicaid QA Tester and QA Engineer Medicaid Systems
Location: Columbia SC (Hybrid 3 days onsite 2 days remote; first month fully onsite)

Overview:
Seeking an experienced MMIS Quality Assurance Lead to support South Carolinas Medicaid agency (SCDHHS) with quality assurance and data validation initiatives. The role involves working on complex government IT systems with a focus on ETL testing automation and data pipeline validation.
Position:
MMIS QA Lead (Consultant)
Responsibilities:
Perform tests on technical solutions to identify and resolve issues
Develop and implement test strategies for data pipelines and ETL transformations
Create automated test scripts using Python and Pytest
Write advanced SQL queries for validation profiling and debugging
Conduct regression and performance testing of ETL jobs
Automate front-end Web UI testing using Selenium
Automate REST API testing for microservices and endpoints
Collaborate with business and data teams to define requirements and test cases
Build and maintain Python-based reusable test frameworks
Integrate tests into CI/CD pipelines
Document results defects and communicate findings
Utilize Git JIRA Azure DevOps Apache Airflow or equivalent tools
Requirement Qualifications:
5 years on Government IT MMIS projects as QA Analyst or QA Lead
5 years Python scripting for ETL test automation
5 years automating ETL validation using Python Pytest
3 years complex SQL query writing (SQL Server Oracle etc.)
3 years translating policy/business documentation into test scenarios
1 year experience in Selenium Web UI automation
Experience with REST API automation
Preferred: Experience with Airflow or Prefect Git CI/CD JIRA Azure DevOps
Additional Information:
Duration: 12 Months with strong extension potential
Interview: Skype/Phone
Must currently reside in South Carolina or be willing to relocate at own expense
First month is fully onsite; Hybrid schedule thereafter
Candidate Details:
Must be Green Card holder EAD OPT or US Citizen
Must have strong MMIS QA background with test automation expertise
Should have recent experience with Python SQL Selenium and API testing
