Job Description
Role: .NET Solutions with P&C Insurance exp.
Duration: Long Term
Location: Warren NJ- 3 days Hybrid (Locals Only)
Required skills:
- 10 years of experience in software development and architecture with at least 3 years in a solution architect role.
- Strong hands-on experience with .NET Core C# JavaScript/TypeScript React Angular preferred.
- Strong Experience in Azure cloud services and cloud-native design patterns.
- Experience in the P&C insurance or reinsurance domain is required.
- Excellent communication leadership and stakeholder management skills.
Solution Architect:
- Design and implement robust scalable and secure solutions tailored to insurance/reinsurance workflows such as underwriting claims processing policy administration and risk modeling.
- Define architecture blueprints and ensure alignment with enterprise architecture standards and regulatory frameworks (e.g. NAIC GDPR Solvency II).
- Leverage microservices and event-driven architecture to support modular and extensible system design.
- Collaborate with actuarial underwriting and claims teams to understand domain-specific requirements and translate them into technical solutions.
- Integrate with third-party platforms such as policy administration systems reinsurer portals and regulatory data feeds.
- Architect cloud-native applications using Azure services such as Azure App Services Azure Functions Azure API Management Azure SQL and Azure DevOps.
- Define CI/CD pipelines infrastructure as code (IaC) and automated testing strategies to ensure high availability and resilience.
- Lead cross-functional development teams providing guidance on best practices in coding design and architecture.
- Conduct design and code reviews ensuring adherence to architectural principles and security standards.
- Act as a bridge between business and technology teams clearly articulating technical solutions to non-technical stakeholders.
- Implement secure authentication and authorization mechanisms using Azure AD OAuth2 and role-based access control (RBAC).
- Maintain comprehensive architectural documentation including system diagrams integration maps and decision logs.
- Participate in architecture review boards and contribute to enterprise architecture governance.
