Pay: $20/hour DOE
Location: Tulsa OK
Shift: Monday Friday 7:00 AM 3:30 PM

Position Overview
We are currently seeking an experienced and detail-oriented CNC Laser Operator to operate and program a 6KW laser plate cutter equipped with a shuttle table. This role requires a strong understanding of laser cutting operations from setup and programming to inspection and maintenance. Ideal candidates will be highly skilled in interpreting technical drawings and optimizing production through precision and efficiency.
Required Experience & Skills
High School Diploma or GED required; technical certification preferred
Minimum of 2 years of experience operating and programming CNC laser cutters (6KW or higher preferred)
Proficiency with CAD/CAM laser programming and nesting software (e.g. BySoft SigmaNEST)
Familiarity with metal types thicknesses and appropriate cutting parameters
Skilled in reading technical drawings and understanding tolerances
Strong mechanical aptitude and attention to detail
Ability to lift 50 lbs and remain on feet for extended periods
Essential Duties & Responsibilities
Operate and program a 6KW CNC laser plate cutter with a shuttle table
Cut steel aluminum and other sheet or plate metals per job specifications
Load materials align accurately on the table and monitor cutting operations
Optimize cutting paths and nesting for material efficiency
Perform basic maintenance and troubleshooting of laser machinery
Inspect finished parts for accuracy using precision measuring tools
Document production output and track material usage
Maintain a safe clean work environment in accordance with company and OSHA standards
Collaborate with engineering and production teams to enhance output quality and efficiency
