BASIC FUNCTION:
TheHigh School Registar willassume primary responsibility for the technical and clerical recordkeeping duties and functions related to the permanent academic records at an assigned high school; perform regular or relief duties with other clerical recordkeeping duties functions as assigned.

VACANCY / POSITION SPECIFICS:
This is a PROMOTIONAL/OPENopportunity which means that current monthly salaried employees receive precedence over other candidates on the eligible a promotional/open posting the top ten internalcandidates will be provided unless there is an insufficient number of internalcandidatesand then the list will be supplemented with the top externalcandidatesto make up the list of ten (Employment Regulations for the Classified Service of the San Diego Unified School District: Article IV Section 9).

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:
Education and Experience:
A combination equivalent to graduation from high school and three years of increasingly responsible clerical experience including at least two years of experience in a school setting performing student recordkeeping duties and involving extensive public contact.
NOTE: Your related education and experience must be clearly represented in the work history and education section of your application.
Licenses and Other Requirements:
Typing/keyboarding certificate at a net corrected speed of 40 words per minute
