Job Description
The Associate Data Insights and Forensics will join our Corporate Legal Solutions team and play a role in supporting the operational needs of our clients. This is an important role in a fast-paced professional and collaborative organization. The ideal candidate will be comfortable interacting with management and working closely across our large team to drive efficiency and achieve results. A commitment to excellence attention to detail and enthusiasm for taking on new challenges are critical to success in the role.
Day-to-Day Responsibilities:
- Legal Technology & Systems: Support the implementation maintenance management and optimization of legal technology tools (e.g. legal billing matter management document management and knowledge management).
- Financial & Vendor Management: Help manage vendor and timekeeper onboarding invoice submissions and processing and play a key role in the evolution and administration of our strategic Managed Service initiative.
- Data Analysis & Reporting: Collect analyze and interpret various metrics to provide insights and support strategic decision-making.
- Process Support & Improvement: Support existing processes identify opportunities to enhance efficiency and effectiveness and work towards continuous improvement and automation where possible.
- Cross-Functional Collaboration: Work closely with internal stakeholders in Enterprise Legal Management Contract Lifecycle Management and Information Lifecycle Management to enhance the overall departments operations.
Essential Traits:
- 1-3 years of experience in a corporate legal department or law firm preferred but not required.
- Proficiency in Office 365 applications; Microsoft Word Excel and PowerPoint required. Working knowledge of SharePoint Visio Power BI and Power Automate preferred.
- Detail-oriented with strong analytical problem-solving organizational communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to manage multiple projects work independently and as part of a team.
- Bachelors degree required.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Experience with legal management software (e.g. legal billing matter management).
- Experience with litigation.
- Knowledge of legal department financial processes and billing guidelines.
- Knowledge of project management methodologies.
