Job Details:

The Senior Manager Information Technology will lead a dynamic team of IT professionals of various disciplines to support the companys technological infrastructure and strategic IT initiatives and ensure the delivery of high-quality IT solutions that support business objectives. This role oversees the planning implementation and maintenance of the

companys IT systems and ensures they align with business goals. The Senior Manager of IT will work closely with senior leadership to drive innovation improve efficiency and ensure the security and reliability of IT operations.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Agile Execution: Familiar with scrum practices focusing on technical delivery ensuring that products are built on robust scalable models.
  • Broader Oversight: Manage a large team or multiple small teams providing guidance and support to ensure operational success.
  • Collaborate with Senior Leadership: Collaborate with senior leadership to define IT strategy and roadmaps aligning technological initiatives with business priorities.
  • Culture Driver: Foster a positive and innovative IT culture that aligns with organizational values promotes continuous learning and encourages collaboration across teams and departments.
  • Drive Strategic IT Initiatives: Drive the implementation of strategic IT initiatives aligned with organizational goals ensuring impactful results.
  • Lead and Develop Teams: Lead and develop multiple teams of IT professionals across different specialties fostering growth and collaboration.
  • Manage Stakeholder and Vendor Relationships: Manage relationships with key stakeholders and vendors ensuring effective communication and successful partnerships.
  • Mentorship & Development: Mentor team leads and managers on advanced techniques helping them grow their technical expertise and leadership skills.
  • Operations Excellence: Drive operational improvements across multiple IT teams leverage data analytics to demonstrate effectiveness and optimize resource allocation and budget management to ensure efficiency and cost-effectiveness.
  • Optimize Resource Allocation and Budgeting: Optimize resource allocation and budget management across multiple teams to ensure efficiency and cost-effectiveness.
  • Oversee Complex Projects: Oversee complex large-scale projects and programs ensuring timely delivery and adherence to quality standards.
  • Performance Management: Leverage the enterprise-wide performance management system to align team and individual goals with organizational objectives mentor team leads in effective performance management practices and ensure consistent application of performance standards across multiple teams.
  • Project Guidance: Guide multiple teams in implementing complex projects ensuring they are delivered on time and meet business requirements.
  • Stakeholder Communication: Ensure frequent and effective communication with cross-functional teams and stakeholders to maintain alignment and transparency.
  • Strategic Alignment: Align IT initiatives with broader business goals and strategies ensuring technology supports long-term business objectives.
  • Strategic Implementation: Ensure that IT practices are strategically implemented to support long-term business goals and objectives.
  • Risk Management: Develop and oversee risk management processes for multiple IT teams proactively addressing potential issues and implementing mitigation strategies to ensure project and operational success.
  • Technical Oversight: Provide oversight on the architectural and design aspects of IT ensuring alignment with industry standards and business needs.
  • Team Member Support and Empowerment: Actively support team members by identifying and creating opportunities for skill development cross-functional exposure and career advancement ensuring their success and alignment with organizational goals.
  • Vendor Management: To ensure optimal service delivery evaluate and manage relationships with IT operations vendors and service providers.
  • Perform other job-related duties as assigned which align with our organizations vision mission and values and fall within your scope of practice.

Education: Bachelors degree preferably in Information Technology Computer Science or a related field or relevant experience.

Preferred Certification(s): Certification related to Microsoft Power BI or Palantir Foundry

Experience: 7 years of relevant and practical experience preferably in IT management or a related role with a proven ability to lead and motivate teams.

Special Skills:

  • Leadership and Team Management: Demonstrate strong leadership and team management skills guiding teams toward achieving goals while fostering a collaborative and productive work environment.
  • Problem-Solving and Decision-Making: Demonstrate excellent problem-solving and decision-making skills proactively addressing challenges and making sound decisions in high-pressure situations. Handle most operational issues autonomously seeking upper management input primarily for strategic or high-impact decisions.
  • IT Project Management: Proficient in IT project management methodologies and tools ensuring the successful planning execution and delivery of technology projects.
  • Communication and Interpersonal Skills: Strong communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to clearly explain technical concepts to non-technical staff and team members ensuring alignment and understanding across all levels.
  • Expertise in Microsoft Power BI development including data modeling DAX and Power Query.
  • Experience with Power BI Service including workspace management security and sharing.
  • Prior experience creating Power BI interactive dashboards and reports.
  • Knowledge of Power BI integration with other Microsoft tools (e.g. Excel Azure).
  • Optionally an understanding of Palantir Foundrys data integration and management capabilities.
  • Optionally experience with Palantir Foundrys ontology and data pipeline creation
  • Optionally proficiency in developing and maintaining Foundry applications and workflows.
  • Optionally knowledge of Foundrys security and governance features.
