Position Summary and Purpose:The Billing Clerk for the Service Department at Cincinnati Incorporated is responsible for ensuring accurate and timely processing of service-related invoices billing adjustments and customer account documentation. This role plays a critical role in maintaining the financial integrity of our service operations by verifying work orders collaborating with our field service representatives and managers and resolving billing discrepancies. The Billing Clerk supports customer satisfaction by delivering clear accurate invoices and providing responsive communication related to billing inquiries.
Duties and Responsibilities:
ESSENTIAL:
- Prepare billing information and support the accuracy and efficiency of billing process.
- Register payment and send correspondence.
- Take appropriate action with delinquent accounts and help clients and customers with billing issues.
- Create maintain and enter information into databases
- Assist other departments as needed to maximize customer satisfaction
Education and Experience:

Knowledge:
- Basic Accounting Principles Understanding of debits/credits invoicing procedures and financial documentation.
- Billing and Invoicing Systems Familiarity with ERP or accounting software (Epicor is a plus).
- Customer Account Management Knowledge of customer billing processes service order reconciliation and payment terms.
Skills:
- Time Management Ability to meet billing deadlines and manage multiple service orders simultaneously.
- Problem Solving Ability to research and resolve billing discrepancies or invoice rejections.
- Communication Skills Clear written and verbal communication with internal departments and external customers.
- Organizational Skills Effective management of files service records and billing documentation.

- Work Independently and as Part of a Team Capable of handling tasks autonomously while collaborating with the service and finance teams.
