As a District Manager your approach to customer service will set the tone for all wash site team members and youll be creating the cornerstones of customer retention while building lifetime customer relationships. Primary Responsibilities: Leadership and Market Oversight - Serve as the primary leader for our Iowa Market.
- Provide strategic leadership to assigned locations ensuring consistency in guest experience operational excellence and team performance.
- Act as the primary point of contact for all locations under your supervision effectively communicating initiatives policies and procedures. This includes being available during nights weekends and all operating hours of any locations or markets under your supervision to ensure support and leadership presence.
- Create and implement strategies for market growth key leader development and efficiencies for assigned locations
- Act as the face of Rocket Carwash within the market by building relationships with local businesses and community leaders to drive traffic and brand awareness.
Guest Experience and Community Engagement - Uphold and actively reinforce The Rocket Guest Service Expectation Model by ensuring that all team members consistently drive an exceptional guest experience. This includes greeting guests warmly by name guiding them through the carwash process and introducing new members to our offerings all while maintaining a positive and engaging atmosphere that fosters personalized service and connection.
- Lead by example by maintaining a positive and engaging atmosphere at every site fostering personalized service and connection.
- Act as the Mayor of your locations by engaging with guests personally building lasting relationships and addressing guest concerns quickly and professionally.
- Coach General Managers to consistently deliver a welcoming environment and personalized guest interactions.
Strategic Growth and Financial Management - Oversee financial performance and profitability for assigned locations managing labor costs site expenses and sales targets.
- Conduct regular financial reviews with General Managers providing insights and strategies to optimize revenue and control costs.
- Maintain a comprehensive understanding of budget trends and cost factors impacting operations.
- Monitor site-specific KPIs and performance metrics guiding General Managers to achieve and maintain high standards.
- Inspire performance and accountability by setting clear expectations and driving results through data-driven decision-making.
Operations & Safety - Lead compliance efforts by enforcing all safety regulations and ensuring a proactive approach to hazard identification and resolution. This includes proactively identify and report potential hazards or issues to leadership and Workforce Solutions working together to develop and implement effective solutions.
- Manages all aspects of operations at assigned locations including car wash equipment chemical inventory and physical appearance of the office tunnel backroom vacuum area pay stations and parking lot.
- Implement operational improvements by auditing processes and delivering actionable feedback to enhance team efficiency and guest satisfaction.
- Conduct routine inspections and DM visits of sites to ensure compliance with company standards processes safety regulations and site presentation.
- Mentor and guide General Managers to build high-performance teams at their respective sites emphasizing ambitious goal setting and accountability.
- Oversee staffing initiatives to ensure each site is properly resourced based on current business needs and seasonal trends.
- Conducts regular performance reviews of team members delivering real-time coaching and feedback to drive continuous improvement and optimize daily business results.
- Lead the development and training of future leaders within the district fostering a pipeline of talent for ongoing growth.
- Uphold the dress and grooming standards ensuring both your own appearance and that of the entire team uphold a clean and professional presentation across the site.
- Report directly to the Chief Operating Officer carrying out all assigned tasks and contributing to broader company objectives.
- Collaborate closely with support teams leveraging available resources effectively while serving as a liaison to ensure site leadership can stay focused on their site operations and utilize their support teams efficiently.
- May be asked to perform basic to intermediate-level technology tasks.

Requirements - 2-4 years of experience with multi-unit leadership
- Valid drivers license
- Is available to work 40-50 hours per week including weekends and a varying schedule to meet the needs of a fast-paced business
- Proficiency in using productivity tools like Microsoft Office (Word Excel Teams) and other relevant software.
- Experience with labor management and strategic staff scheduling
- Strong leadership and communication skills
- Ability to lead a team and deliver exceptional guest service
- Be punctual responsible and accountable
Physical Demands: - Ability to perform physical tasks such as walking crouching kneeling bending and standing for extended periods of time.
- Ability to work outdoors in various weather conditions including rain snow sleet and extreme temperatures (both heat and cold).
- Ability to lift up to 50 pounds
