Special Education Math Tutor (Part-Time)

Pay:
$21.00 $31.00 per hour (based on experience and qualifications)
Job Description:
Tutor Doctor is seeking a passionate and experienced Math Tutor with a background in Special Education to provide one-on-one support to students with diverse learning needs. If you enjoy creating individualized learning plans and making a real impact in a students life wed love to meet you!
Responsibilities:
Provide personalized instruction in Math tailored to each students learning style and needs
Support students with learning challenges IEPs or other special education needs
Create engaging multi-sensory lesson plans and adapt strategies as needed
Track and communicate student progress with families and our internal team
Collaborate with parents and/or school professionals as needed
Maintain accurate records of tutoring sessions
Qualifications:
Bachelors degree preferred (Education Math or related field)
Minimum 1 year of experience tutoring or teaching especially in Special Education or Math
Knowledge of special education principles IEP/504 accommodations and teaching strategies
Excellent communication skills and ability to build rapport with students and families
Reliable transportation if in-person sessions are required
