Job Description

Are you ready to join an industry leader committed to excellence and innovation TAL one of Australias leading life insurers is looking for a dynamic Project and Change Management Lead to become an integral part of our Group Life and Retirement business unit.

In this exciting permanent role you will report to the Business and Planning Manager where youll lead and support key projects and workstreams. Your role will include offering quality project support to various initiatives applying your practical knowledge and experience in project program and change management processes.

This position offers the opportunity to work collaboratively across different Business Units and workstreams ensuring comprehensive support for the business. You will also provide administrative assistance on larger projects contributing to the success and growth of TAL.

In this role you will:

  • Prepare templates and artefacts using various software (e.g. MS Office Excel PowerPoint Visio MS Project)
  • Coordinate and at times facilitate project/workstream sessions/SteerCo meetings
  • Provide drafting support for meeting materials on behalf of the Business & Planning Manager Head of Governance & Risk or other program managers as needed
  • Produce ad-hoc reporting to encourage/demonstrate compliance with processes support leadership team decision-making
  • Proactively identify and manage project risks
  • Provide financial management support including purchase order management validation of invoicing and accruals and statement of work approvals

Qualifications :

  • Experience with project program and portfolio management and governance
  • Microsoft Office suite skills (Outlook Word Excel PowerPoint) plus experience using Project Visio and SharePoint
  • Well-organised and efficient at prioritising tasks
  • Strong communication skills
  • Pro-active and a self-starter
  • Capable of maintaining structure in an unstructured environment
