Job Description
Are you a natural leader with a passion for veterinary care and team development
Were looking for a dedicated Practice Manager to join our well-established and highly regarded team in Tamworth!
This is a shared leadership role working alongside an experienced manager to support a large and skilled team that services both small animal general practice and referral caseloads.
As a vital member of our leadership team youll take on a varied and rewarding role that includes:
- Overseeing clinic workflow and ensuring smooth day-to-day operations
- Leading mentoring and inspiring a large diverse team of veterinary professionals
- Coordinating rosters and processing payroll
- Managing recruitment onboarding and providing ongoing staff support
- Handling reception and administration responsibilities
- Supporting our after-hours and on-call service coordination
- Participating in hands-on nursing duties including surgical and medical care
Were seeking someone with:
- Proven leadership experience and a passion for team development
- Strong organisational and time management skills
- Confidence in leading within a high-paced multifaceted environment
- A collaborative and proactive mindset
- Excellent communication and problem-solving abilities
- Tech-savviness (RX Works experience a bonus!)
- A solid understanding of clinic operations and business management
- Background in veterinary nursing highly desirable
