Job Purpose
Within the FP Advice & Technical team lead on delivering and embedding change and business improvements into BAU driving continuous improvement achieving great client outcomes and supporting the Head of FP Advice and Chief Financial Planning Director with our commercial and compliance objectives.

Key Responsibilities
- Working in a senior function within the FP Advice & Technical team this role will lead and drive forward the overall aims of the Financial planning business as required by the CFPD.
- The role includes work to develop maintain & govern the advice policy practices and guidance for the Financial Planning product and proposition working with key stakeholders to review identify gaps update guidance and provide ongoing training and support to the FP business.
- The team has responsibility to maintain Financial Planning (FP) advice fee pricing and ongoing review services.
- Represent FP at various relevant forums and formal committees.
- Manage Front Office queries on FP advice proposition service and delivery.
- Engage with stakeholders in a range of other departments (such as Process Delivery & Support Oversight Compliance) to ensure delivery of team activities and projects from design to sign-off and implementation.
- Act as an FP Subject Matter Expert (SME) supporting certain projects in the wider business as required and dependant on business need
- The team has responsibility to engage in commercial relationships with key third party providers and work collaboratively with the key stakeholders both internal and external.
- Work in collaboration on delivery of the CFPD training plan and take an active role in supporting the Front office knowledge and skills where relevant to FP Advice & Technical issues.
Skills Experience & Qualifications
- Financial Planning experience within a regulated advice firm
- Strong organisation and prioritisation skills able to work independently and within a team
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills good attention to detail
- Adept at working with colleagues / stakeholders from across business functions and with third parties
- Experience of tools that support the financial planning advice process
Professional Qualifications and Education
- Minimum CII Level 4 (Diploma) Financial Planning or equivalent or above
