Job Description

The Copyright Administrator is responsible for :

  • Proof review : review documents (including but not limited to contracts) sent by clients and assess whether they are sufficient to indicate that the client holds the rights on the content distributed by Believe.
  • Contact with clients : inform clients on the results of the proof review request further documents if necessary answer questions relating to proof review and rights conflicts 
  • Contact with sales team : review appeals sent by sales team related to content removal following non sufficient proof of rights
  • Update tools : update excel trackers and internal tools following reviews
  • Team Collaboration: work closely with diverse teams including Rights and Sales to identify and implement improvements in proof review processes and workflows
  • Lead Time Management: Ensure adherence to Service Level Agreements (SLAs) for alerts and client responses and maintain an adequate daily volume of document reviews
  • Use of AI tools for doc review and analysis.
  • Time Tracking: Maintain and update the time tracker file to facilitate monthly reporting

Qualifications :

Experience in an administrative role preferably in a legal or copyright-related environment

Knowledge of contracts and/or music copyright laws is an advantage

Collaboration & Relationship management with Internal and external stakeholders

Communication skills

Process & support oriented

Ability to adapt to changing priorities

English French Any other language will be considered as a plus especially Italian and Spanish
