Job Description
Your Responsibilities:
- Execute predefined daily weekly and monthly operational processes.
- Collect validate and consolidate customer forecasts to support accurate demand planning.
- Ensure timely and correct processing of customer orders from entry to final delivery.
- Communicate actively with customers METRO countries as well as other business partners to solve daily operational issues.
- Contribute to process automation and optimization initiatives (short and long-term) to streamline operations and enhance efficiency.
- Support the continuous improvement of the demand planning process to increase availability of own brand assortment and improve cross-functional collaboration
- Support ad hoc tasks and project-based work as needed.
Qualifications :
- You are currently enrolled in a Bachelors or Masters program in Business Administration Economics or Engineering or a related field ideally with a focus on SCM or Logistics.
- Your advanced skills in MS Office programs especially PowerPoint and Excel (Pivot tables Macros) are desirable.
- You are passionate about customer service and understand its impact on supply chain performance.
- You are a team player and can successfully blend into an international team environment.
- You have a strong and empathetic personality and excellent communication skills that help you engage with stakeholders involved in your daily activities.
- You are fluent in English (spoken and written) and an additional European language will be an advantage.
