We require an accomplished Lead Cloud Engineer to join our Cloud Infrastructure Team and drive the delivery of application modernisation and cloud landing zones for our esteemed clients in APAC. You will act as a GCP subject matter expert providing technical guidance on solutions design governance security operations and cost control best practices.
Role Responsibilities:
- Work with customers to design and build cloud-based infrastructures and landing zones
- Assist with the creation of Infrastructure architectures and technical documentation
- Design and implement:
- Secure cloud foundational cloud implementations
- Automated provisioning of infrastructure and applications
- Cloud-ready applications architecture
- Deliver end-to-end cloud-based infrastructure management solutions
- Present Infrastructure modernization strategy to C-level executives
- Improvements to monitoring logging and observability in Client environments
- Defining and implementing cloud infrastructure governance and building deployment standards
- Working cross-functionally with our delivery management team
Qualifications :
- Expert knowledge of Google Cloud Platform and its infrastructure offerings
- Experience with architecting and implementing Landing Zones
- Hands-on Infrastructure as Code (IaC) development preferably with Terraform
- Experience with virtualization: servers storage networks
- Experience in networking identity management virtualization
- Experience with Data Centre exit strategies
- GCP certifications or willingness to become certified
