What You Will Achieve

In this role you will:

  • Take responsibility for individual contributions to team deliverables fostering a positive team environment and representing the work group within department teams.
  • Manage personal time and professional development prioritize workflow and assist less-experienced colleagues in prioritizing their tasks.
  • Complete various assignments identify process improvements troubleshoot issues and provide direction and training to team members.
  • Share knowledge within and across work groups and proactively resolve non-routine problems by making informed decisions.
  • Work independently under general supervision referring only new or unusual problems to the supervisor and ensure non-standard work is reviewed for technical soundness.
  • Adhere to Pfizer standards guidelines and values and train others in these practices.
  • Manage and support emergency dispatch operations environmental operations and ensure compliance with occupational safety and health standards.
  • Participate in OSHA inspections administer industrial hygiene and toxicology programs and investigate and report on injuries and fatalities.
  • Maintain site safety and emergency notification systems monitor environmental control systems and perform equipment cleaning changeover and maintenance preparation.
  • Conduct site inspections respond to emergency calls dispatch emergency personnel maintain dispatch logs and conduct safe work procedures training for team members.

Here Is What You Need (Minimum Requirements)

  • A High School Diploma or GED
  • 4 years of experience
  • Certification in the relevant area (if applicable)
  • Effective interpersonal skills
  • Strong written and oral communication abilities
  • Proficiency in computer operations
  • Proficiency in MS Office applications such as Word Excel and PowerPoint
  • Ability to manage personal time and professional development
  • Ability to prioritize workflow and assist less-experienced colleagues
  • Delta V and Wonderware knowledge
  • SAP knowledge

Bonus Points If You Have (Preferred Requirements)

  • Prior experience as a Chemical Operator
  • Familiarity with working in a manufacturing environment
  • Strong problem-solving skills
  • Ability to share knowledge across multiple work groups
  • Strong decision-making skills


PHYSICAL/MENTAL REQUIREMENTS

Be able to work in all kinds of environment lift 50 pounds deal with harsh chemicals up and down stairs and all kinds of weather. Have great communication skills and work in a group environment able to use computers.

NON-STANDARD WORK SCHEDULE TRAVEL OR ENVIRONMENT REQUIREMENTS

Day shift 12 hour alternating schedule.

The salary for this position ranges from $22.84 to $38.06 per hour. In addition this position offers eligibility for overtime weekend holiday and other pay premiums depending on the work schedule and the Companys policies.
