The Opportunity
Our client a government agency in Tallahassee FL is seeking a highly experienced Senior IT Business Solutions Manager to align technology initiatives with strategic business goals. The consultant will work onsite at the FDOT Central Office and serve as a strategic interface between IT and business units. This individual will support the planning and prioritization of technology integration efforts manage business requirements gathering and conduct gap analyses between current and future systems. The role requires extensive experience in strategic IT planning program/project management and deep familiarity with Florida IT Rules.
Job duties include but are not limited to:
- Documenting business objectives and IT requirements
- Supporting project managers and analysts in gap analysis and solution design
- Planning and managing IT-business integration
- Conducting impact assessments risk analysis and feasibility studies
- Facilitating planning and technical assessment sessions
- Developing documentation for business cases POCs and strategic plans
- Coordinating with IT and functional teams for system assessments
- Producing executive-level and detailed reports
Compensation and Term
This opportunity is for a full-time contract position with possibleextensions and pay commensurate with experience up to $180000per year. Medical dental vision and life insurance available after 30 days of hire.
Qualifications you need
A successful candidatehas the following experience:
- Bachelors degree in Computer Science Information Systems Business Administration or a related financial field.
- Minimum 7 years of IT and business work experience.
- Exposure to a broad range of technical environments and business sectors.
- Public sector IT experience (mandatory).
- Managing teams in strategic planning infrastructure or operations.
- Using business process tools with a track record of successful deployments.
- Performing gap analyses and planning transitions to new tech environments.
- Strategic consulting solutioning and stakeholder management.
