JOB SUMMARY
Combined position 30% academic program coordinator and 70% nursing faculty duties MSN and BSN programs. The Academic Program Coordinator collaborates with the Director of Nursing and MSN and BSN Program Directors for oversight of graduate and undergraduate curriculum and program policy relevancy currency and revision needs based in regulatory and accreditation requirements. Additional responsibilities include service on the Curriculum and Evaluation Committees participation in state boards of nursing compliance and CCNE accreditation activities to include data collection and monitoring for compliance with the Nursing Program Evaluation Plan (NPEP). The Academic Program Coordinator participates in orienting and mentoring of new faculty and in faculty training.

REQUIRED EDUCATION: (education based on essential job duties and requirements consistent with business necessity):
MSN Degree required Doctorate degree in Nursing preferred. Licensure: current license as Registered Nurse in Kansas and Missouri
REQUIRED EXPERIENCE: (experience based on requirements in role and are consistent with business necessity)
3-5 years related work experience in higher Nursing Education
