Job Description
Duties and Responsibilities
- Collaborate with Agile teams to design develop integrate and manage Echos large scale data solutions including data storage data modeling ETL data querying and reporting
- Share your passion for staying on top of tech trends experimenting with and learning new technologies participating in internal & external technology communities mentoring other members of the data engineering community
- Work with both on-prem data environment and deliver robust cloud-based solutions.
- Lead in the research evaluation operational usage and building of relational and non sql solutions
- Utilize programming languages like .Net Python T-SQL RDBMS Open Source and NoSQL databases Microsoft SQL Server SSIS SSRS and a variety of AWS tools and services
.
Position Requirements:
- Bachelors Degree in computer science or equivalent years of experience.
- At least 5 years of professional data engineering experience (Internship experience does not apply)
- 5 years of experience in at least one of the following modern languages: .Net Python Scala JavaT-SQL PostgresSQL.
- 1 years of experience with AWS GCP Azure or another cloud service
- 2 years of experience in Open Source frameworks
- 2 years of experience in Agile practices
- Experience with AWS AuroraRedshift
- Experience with reporting tools such as SSRS PowerBI Tableau
