- Answer incoming calls and respond to inquiries about swim lessons and schedules.
- Schedule and confirm swim lessons for customers while maintaining an organized calendar.
- Provide excellent customer service and support to ensure a positive experience.
- Manage customer follow-ups and resolve scheduling conflicts efficiently.
- Maintain accurate records of customer interactions and transactions.
- Assist in promoting special events and programs to potential customers.
- Utilize scheduling software to optimize lesson bookings and availability.
- High school diploma or equivalent; experience in customer service preferred.
- Strong verbal communication skills and a friendly demeanor.
- Proficiency in using computers and scheduling software.
- Ability to multitask and work effectively in a fast-paced environment.
- Detail-oriented with strong organizational skills.
- Previous experience in a call center or administrative role is a plus.
- Passion for swimming and water safety is highly desirable.
- Flexible availability including evenings and weekends.
- Must live in Houston area for training.

While we teach swimming to people of all ages and abilities most of our students are preschool and elementary-aged kids. Our instructors should like working with this age group and be good at making parents feel comfortable. Its helpful if you have experience with children or in a child-focused job but its not required if you can show the right attitude. The job comes with specialized training in our advanced and unique British Swim School approach.
We also have exciting opportunities with our Customer Service Team even if youre not in the pool. These are the people committed to providing the best service in the industry. In these roles you might talk to parents on the phone or by the pool. Wherever you are the aim is to make everyone feel like part of the British Swim School Family as we focus on ensuring the Survival of the Littlest.
