Quality EngineerLocation Chennai Work from OfficeExperience Level 6 8 yearsTier T3We are looking for a highly motivated and detail oriented Test Engineer to join our data platform engineering team focused on delivering high quality scalable and secure healthcare data solutions The role will involve end to end testing of data pipelines data quality checks data lineage and transformation logic ensuring the integrity and reliability of healthcare datasets The ideal candidate will have a strong foundation in Python scripting for test automation cloud platforms and DevOps CI CD tools with a deep understanding of testing in data centric environmentsKey ResponsibilitiesDesign and execute end to end testing strategies for the healthcare data platform coveringo Data ingestion and flowo Data lineage validationo Data quality checkso Data transformation logico Data reconciliation across systemsDevelop and maintain automated test scripts in Python to validate large scale healthcare data pipelines and transformationsBuild robust data validation frameworks that can perform row level column level and aggregate level comparisons between source and target systemsImplement and maintain automated testing suites using Selenium for UI where applicable and integrate with CI CD pipelines using DevOps tools e g Jenkins Azure DevOps GitHub ActionsCollaborate with data engineers analysts and business users to understand data flows and ensure business rules and transformation logic are correctly implemented and testedDevelop and maintain test cases test plans and test reports for data warehouse and data lake componentsSupport performance regression and smoke testing of data platform componentsPerform root cause analysis and troubleshoot test failures by analyzing logs data profiles and pipeline behaviorEnsure all test artifacts comply with internal compliance audit and HIPAA standards for healthcare dataRequired Qualifications3 6 years of experience as a QA Test Engineer with at least 2 years focused on data platform or data warehouse testingStrong experience with Python scripting for building custom test automation tools and frameworksHands on experience with data testing techniques includingData reconciliation between systemsData profilingSchema validationTransformation rule validationProficiency in SQL for data validation and querying across structured and semi structured sourcesExperience with Selenium for UI automation testing where applicableFamiliarity with DevOps CI CD tools e g Jenkins GitLab CI Azure DevOpsWorking knowledge of cloud platforms e g AWS Azure or GCP for testing cloud native data services and environments
