Job Description

JOB OVERVIEW

Conexus Indianas vision is that Indiana will be recognized as the global leader in Advanced Manufacturing and Logistics (AML). An initiative of the Central Indiana Corporate Partnership (CICP) Conexus is focused on achieving its vision through a mission to accelerate promote and grow Indianas advanced manufacturing and logistics economy by leading innovative collaborations between industry academic and public-sector partners.

The Manager of Talent Programs supports the Senior Vice President Talent Strategy and Programs in advancing Conexus Indianas mission to build a world-class workforce pipeline for advanced manufacturing and logistics through (i) the development implementation and growth of successful talent development programming (ii) community involvement designed to further Conexus Indianas overall leadership in responding to relevant opportunities and challenges (iii) influence and connectivity to career and technical education (CTE) programs offered through secondary and postsecondary education and (iv) the administration of operational functions in support of the mission. The Manager of Talent Programs will promote Conexus Indiana its industry sector and organizational objectives by coordinating and managing the day-to-day operations of Conexus Indianas talent initiatives. This position plays a critical role in ensuring the successful execution of programs that prepare Indianas workforce for the demands of the modern AML economy. The ideal candidate is highly organized detail-oriented proactive and passionate about workforce development.


JOB RESPONSIBILITIES
  • Support the SVP in implementing talent development strategies by managing the daily operations of talent programs and initiatives.
  • Support strategic statewide partnerships to promote careers and educational programs in advanced manufacturing and logistics at the secondary and postsecondary level.
  • Coordinate meetings timelines documentation and follow-ups for talent-related projects.
  • Assist with stakeholder communications and ensure consistent messaging across internal and external audiences.
  • Prepare briefing documents progress reports dashboards and presentations for internal leadership and external stakeholders.
  • Support program logistics such as scheduling site visits workshops focus groups and other talent-related events.
  • Conduct research and compile information to inform strategic decisions and support grant proposals reports and presentations.
  • Monitor key performance indicators and outcomes to help evaluate program effectiveness and identify areas for improvement.
  • Ensure program materials websites and digital assets are current organized and aligned with organizational branding.
  • Collaborate with the Conexus operations and marketing teams to ensure smooth coordination of talent-related activities.
  • Represent Conexus Indiana in meetings and events as needed.

QUALIFICATIONS
  • Bachelors degree in a related field or equivalent experience.
  • 3 years of experience in program coordination project management or operationsworkforce development or education experience is a plus.
  • Understanding of Indianas career and technical education system
  • Excellent written and oral communications skills to include grammar punctuation and spelling.
  • Excellent organizational skills that reflect ability to perform and prioritize multiple tasks seamlessly with excellent attention to detail.
  • Ability to lead project deliverables through to completion.
  • Ability to develop and execute strategy for assigned initiatives in partnership with the Senior Vice President of Talent Strategy and Programming.
  • A self-driven adaptable goal oriented problem solver with a professional work ethic.
  • Demonstrated ability to build mutually beneficial relationships with stakeholders and potential stakeholders across industry and education sectors.
  • The ability to persuade and negotiate with disparate individuals and groups around common goals.
