Job Description

What You Will Achieve

The Manager PMO is a newly created position within the Strategy and Operational Excellence function reporting into the Sr. Manager PMO at PGS Rocky Mount responsible for supporting and executing a strategy to enable a PMO Focus Factory ecosystem. This will ensure that Rocky Mount is strategically positioned to be able to advance site-wide initiatives to achieve our goals. Delivering this strategy in alignment and in collaboration with partners across the PGS network PX Finance Procurement and Regulatory and will require a strong communicator who is passionate about enabling continuous improvements and transformation through foundational efforts across the site.

You will be responsible for establishing and maintaining an effective communication link between the Focus Factories and other site functions to understand their needs. Additionally you will be accountable for evaluating proposals and forecasting budgets resources and timelines needed to progress the initiatives and support site prioritization efforts. You will foster inspire and enable colleagues to adopt new ways of working that accelerate our performance and through optimized simplified and sustainable processes and procedures.

In this role you will:

  • Facilitate the analysis of key processes and engage colleagues in identifying problems unnecessary complexity so that innovative and regulatory compliant solutions can be surfaced. Create and update process and data flow models.

  • Understand the relevant landscape to discuss and assess requirements and options with other technical team members and to leadership.

  • Identify opportunity areas and lead projects to increase productivity in collaboration with other groups

  • Identify risks and issues in processes projects and programs

  • Capture clear workflows and translating those into requirements that can be digested by the teams involved.

  • Evaluate proposals and needs across the site supporting project prioritization within the site-wide programs.

  • Independently lead efforts to identify gaps and define solution requirements.

  • Communicate progress and challenges to leadership and functions.

  • Utilize proven continuous improvement methods to pilot ideas and deliver bottom line quantified results.

  • Foster a culture of continuous improvement that will be achieved through team building education/ coaching and enabling people to solve problems and bring forth ideas.

  • Be an active and visible change agent fostering a flexible and open mindset to new opportunities and increasing digital competencies across the site.

Here is What You Need (Minimum Requirements)

  • Applicant must have a bachelors degree with at least 4 years of experience; OR a masters degree with at least 2 years of experience; OR a PhD with 0 years of experience; OR as associates degree with 8 years
    of experience; OR a high school diploma (or equivalent) and 10 years of
    relevant experience.

  • Excellent written and oral communication skills and interpersonal skills to effectively communicate at multiple levels in the organization.

  • Skilled at identifying problems (problem sensitivity) and attention to detail

  • Ability to prioritize and manage multiple activities and objectives simultaneously.

  • Ability to work independently on individual goals and contribute collaboratively to team goals; enjoys achieving goals through collaborative effort.

  • Highly developed organizational skills experienced in and highly skilled at functioning at a high level in a matrix organization

  • Ability to lead a team leveraging and/or engaging others to accomplish projects and equally as an individual contributor in a fast-paced changing environment.

  • Proven experience working on projects related to labs and manufacturing processes/knowledge management and success working with business partners that drive project completion

  • Excellent computer skills with MS Office knowledge management systems

NON-STANDARD WORK SCHEDULE TRAVEL OR ENVIRONMENT REQUIREMENTS

  • Occasional work outside business hours to accommodate other Pfizer sites partners and manufacturing schedules.


Work Location Assignment:Hybrid

The annual base salary for this position ranges from $96300.00 to $160500.00. In addition this position is eligible for participation in Pfizers Global Performance Plan with a bonus target of 12.5% of the base salary and eligibility to participate in our share based long term incentive program.
