Job Description

Biology Long Term Substitute TeacherReports To: Danvers High School PrincipalResponsibilities:
  • Deliver engaging and rigorous instruction in Biology aligned to curriculum standards.
  • Create lesson plans that promote inquiry critical thinking and student engagement.
  • Assess student understanding through varied formative and summative assessments.
  • Maintain a positive structured and inclusive classroom environment.
  • Communicate regularly with students families and colleagues regarding academic progress and classroom expectations.
  • Collaborate with the Science Department team to ensure instructional continuity and support.
  • Fulfill duties as assigned including attending meetings and participating in professional responsibilities.The Danvers Public School District is committed to the principle of equal opportunity in education and employment.
