Job Description

Biology Long Term Substitute TeacherReports To: Danvers High School PrincipalResponsibilities:

Deliver engaging and rigorous instruction in Biology aligned to curriculum standards.

Create lesson plans that promote inquiry critical thinking and student engagement.

Assess student understanding through varied formative and summative assessments.

Maintain a positive structured and inclusive classroom environment.

Communicate regularly with students families and colleagues regarding academic progress and classroom expectations.

Collaborate with the Science Department team to ensure instructional continuity and support.

Fulfill duties as assigned including attending meetings and participating in professional responsibilities.The Danvers Public School District is committed to the principle of equal opportunity in education and employment.
