Who are we looking for
Working with our client Main Roads WA we are seeking a Network Operations Officer based in Geraldton.
This is a 12 month fixed term opportunity and the role is based residentially in Geraldton.
Working with an energetic and high performing team this position offers a variety of work and will see you involved in:
- Review and provide advice on planning applications (traffic and safety) including traffic management plans
- Undertake the collection and management of road traffic data
- Provide advice to project managers other Main Roads staff and Local Government on traffic management and road safety matters
- Maintain local traffic and road safety data and inventories
What you will bring to the team:
- Experience in the development and review of traffic management plans and road safety
- Current Advanced Worksite Traffic Management accreditation
- Strong skills in investigation analysis and problem solving abilities
- Coordination of data management and computer systems

GHD has been appointed by Main Roads Western Australia to deliver a state-wide Operational Asset Management Support Service (AMSS) contract. Under this contract GHD provides centralised and regional support to assist Main Roads manage and maintain the State Road network.
