Job Description
Service Engineer / Field Service Technician required to join a global engineering manufacturer of packaging and automation machinery.
The ideal Service Engineer / Field Service Technician will be both electrically and mechanically competent with some knowledge of programming. You will be located in Oxford or within a one-hour commute to Oxford.
The successful Service Engineer / Field Service Technician will carry out pre-planned service and maintenance on a wide range of packaging machinery including strapping machines stretch packing machines and other mechanical and electrical equipment.

Responsibilities:
- Carry out pre-planned service and maintenance on a wide range of packaging machinery including strapping machines stretch packing machines and other associated electrical/mechanical equipment.
- Conduct routine maintenance to minimise downtime and enhance machine performance.
- Produce detailed service reports documenting work completed key findings and recommendations.
- Product training provided
- Will ideally be based in Oxford or within a one-hour commute one-hour commute to Oxford.
Requirements:
- Experience as a Service Engineer Field Service Technician Electrical Engineer Service Technician or similar.
- Field service background in electrical and/or mechanical engineering equipment.
- Full UK driving license.
- A technical electrical/mechanical engineering qualification Apprentice trained HNC HND degree or similar would be advantageous.
- Ideally located in Oxford or within a one-hour commute to Oxford
