This role combines in-depth knowledge of compensation principles with an understanding of business needs market and regulatory landscapes and detailed analysis and models.
As a Compensation Associate in the HR team you will perform a variety of compensation activities including providing guidance to line and HR management regarding compensation actions for employees administering/coordinating annual compensation planning processes and analyzing and reporting internal and external market compensation data. You will be part of a global team representing diversity of thought experience and backgrounds who are friendly committed hard-working and growth-oriented.
Job Responsibilities:
- Support end-to-end annual compensation planning via analytics modeling and reporting.
- Work with teams across various areas of HR and the business offering a range of skillsets leadership styles and learning opportunities.
- Understand business priorities and effectively diagnose issues; provide clear advice and recommendations to help partners make informed and sound compensation-related decisions.
- Simplify and improve processes with fresh ideas strategy design iteration and implementation to ensure alignment with business strategy best practices and our risk and controls framework.
- Advise on compensation-related activities including new hire offers promotions transfers budget allocation/forecasting and top talent retention.
- Participate in firmwide projects involving compensation including policy reviews changes in compensation practices and systems development.
Required Qualifications Capabilities and Skills:
- Relevant HR/Compensation or Finance experience with strong analytical critical thinking and problem-solving skills.
- Exceptional systems skills; Advanced MS Excel and proficiency with other Microsoft applications required. Business Objects preferred.
- Proven consulting and influencing skills; ability to drive business goals through HR/Compensation strategies in an innovative and creative way.
- Ability to execute and sustain operational excellence.
